Family:  Bagridae (Bagrid catfishes)
Max. size:  7.92 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: lower regions (<150 m elevation) of all rivers between the Kelani and Nilwala drainages in Sri Lanka.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits rivers with mud or sand substrate (Ref. 79815).
