Max. size:  4.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal
Distribution:  Africa: southern Mozambique to Coffee Bay, South Africa.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-8; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 7-8. Body with diffuse crossbars; comma shaped mark on upper part of caudal base, oblique spot below (Ref. 2798).
