Max. size:  45 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: Atlantic Slope from Roanoke River drainage in Virginia, USA to Santee River drainage in South Carolina, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits rocky runs and mud-bottomed to rock-bottomed pools of small rivers. Also found in impoundments.
