Distribution:  Asia: Vogelkop and Bomberai Peninsula in Irian Jaya, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 5-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-16; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 21-26
Biology:  Occurs in rainforest creeks and small rivers.
