Max. size:  3.88 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6.5 - 7.19999980926514, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: only known from the Lake Rukwa drainage in Zambia (Ref. 27292).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found between reed vegetation at margin of river; also in shallow waterholes beside river; occasionally in open water with more intense current; water clear with slightly brown colouration; males show territorial behaviour (Ref. 27292).
