Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: Roanoke River drainage in Virginia and North Carolina, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits rocky riffles, runs and pools of creeks and small rivers. Often found over sand in slow current.
