Max. size:  8 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Central America: Pacific versant rivers.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in rivers and creeks from the sea to 140 m elevation, more abundant in currents but also found in slow moving waters. Feeds on crustaceans, aquatic insects and fish scales (Ref. 36880).
