Eumicrotremus barbatus (Lindberg & Legeza, 1955)

Max. size:  6.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 74 - 220 m
Distribution:  North Pacific: off Abashiri, Japan, off Paramushir Island in the Kuril Islands and the shore of Igitkin Island in the Aleutian chain.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-11; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 10-10. Body with bony tubercles and dermal papillae; no bony tubercles on interorbital region; first dorsal fin high, crescent in shape; nostril and sensory pores on lower jaw with long tubes (Ref. 559).
