Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: from southeastern Benin, through southern Nigeria and Cameroon, to northwestern Equatorial Guinea (Ref. 47774).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in swamps and swampy parts of small streams in the coastal forest (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. It is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
