Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 50 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: known only from the holotype specimen collected off the mouth of the Saloum River, Senegal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Burrows in sand or mud on the continental shelf (Ref. 4455).
