Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; brackish
Distribution:  Asia: India and Bangladesh.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in rivers and lakes with overgrown vegetation (Ref. 41236), streams (Ref. 4833), ponds and beels (Ref. 1479). Larvivorous.
