Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 40 - 100 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 11-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 9-9
Biology:  Inhabits steep outer reef slopes near sand and rubble bottoms. Feeds on zooplankton in the water column. Maximum depth reported taken from Ref. 128797.
