Max. size:  20 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 0 - 490 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific and adjacent Arctic: Chukchi Sea to western Gulf of Alaska to Sea of Okhotsk, Tatar Strait, and Pacific coast of Hokkaido (Ref. 51666). Reported from South Korea (Ref. 77001).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits soft and rocky bottoms; usually near shore and shallower than 70 meters (Ref. 51666).
