Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic: France.
Diagnosis:  Anal soft rays: 10-10. Anus midway between the pelvic base and anal origin. Barbel less than 75% of head length, marked swelling before the tip. Postorbital luminous organ large (Ref. 37473).
