Distribution:  Western Pacific: Vietnam.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 6-6; Dorsal soft rays (total): 26-26; Anal soft rays: 27-27; Vertebrae: 26-26. This species is distinguished by its welldeveloped scales in the predorsal area and on the belly; 2 pterygiophores A before the first hemapophysis; no sagittal crest of skull and pupil in eye (Ref. 129446).
