Distribution:  Western Pacific: Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 6-6; Dorsal soft rays (total): 26-26; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 27-27; Vertebrae: 26-26. This species is distinguished by the following characters: no scales in predorsal area and on belly; a single pterygiophore A before first hemapophysis; with a wellpronounced sagittal crest of skull and normally developed pupil of eye (Ref. 129446).
