Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: Madeira, Cape Verde, Canary Islands, Annobon Islands, mainland shore from Cape Blanco (Ref. 10954) south to Port Alfred, South Africa (Ref. 6614).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 5-6; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 5-5
Biology:  Inhabits intertidal waters (Ref. 4489).
