Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 7; dH range: 5 - 12, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: Angola, Gabon, Cameroon and Congo.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Feeds on worms, crustaceans and insects (Ref. 7020). Two color morphs, chocolate and gold, are in the aquarium trade (Ref. 4537). Not a seasonal killifish. Aquarium keeping: minimum aquarium size 60 cm (Ref. 51539).
