Distribution:  South America: Brazil.

Biology:  Collected from a flooded forest area adjacent to the igarapédo Baré and the channel connecting it to lago da Beleza, an oxbow lake in the floodplains of the igarapé Baré. The area is subjected to average water level variations between 10-12 m, that environmental conditions vary enormously. Sampling was done in November and January, where water was black with high transparency, with substrate composed by at about 0.2 to
