Remarks Marine fish restricted to inshore waters (Ref. 2416). Ranging from estuaries to the continental shelf (Ref. 42788). Sedentary fish which lies camouflaged in sand. Occasionally found in sandy beaches above the water level at low tide (Ref. 2416). Feeds on demersal fishes (Ref. 42788).
