Observaciones Occurs in coral reef lagoons (Ref. 559, 58534), schooling with other Archamia species. Cryptic, hiding in dark crevices and caves in reefs during the day (Ref. 54391). Exhibits the black gut phenomenon where in nocturnal predators, it appears to serve to conceal bioluminiscent prey in the stomach cavity (Ref. 46685).
