Distribution: Africa: Quanza, Cubango, Cunene, Okavango (Ref. 42019). Also known from the Luembé (Kasai tributary, middle Congo River basin) in Angola (Ref. 42019). Reports from the Luapula and its tributaries need confirmation; reports from Eala (Ruki drainage, middle Congo River basin) and the Lulua River (Kasai drainage) are B. imberi (Ref. 42019).
