Remarks 'pouty', i.e., referring to the oblique position of the lips, the lower lip being thus projected forward, recalling the shape taken by the lips of someone doubting, or musing, or of a child going to cry, and said in French Canadian 'faire un pote', i.e., 'to make a pout' and equivalent in same sense to the English 'to pout'.
