Diagnosis |
Cynolebias parietalis can be diagnosed from all species of C. perforatus group by having united supraorbital and parietal series of neuromasts (vs. separate) and basihyal width about 70-75% of basihyal length (vs. about 50-65%). It further differs from all members of the C. perforatus group, with the exception of C. perforatus, by having 33-35 rays on caudal fin (vs. 28-32) (Ref. 97357). |
