Comments: Established in natural waters. Distribution has extended to even to Loch Lomond in Scotland where it poses a threat to a Coregonus lavaretus population which is one of only two in the whole of Scotland (Ref. 8931). The expansion in the native range by this species is attributed to their use by anglers as live bait for targeting the piscivorous pike Esox lucius (Ref. 101394).     Ref:  HolcĂ­k, J., 1991
