Comments | Introduced in the 1980s. Also introduced from Stirling, Scotland to the Nakambala Estate Fish Farm. No longer cultivated in 1992, but a few survivors might still be in ponds. From Israel to Mubuyu Farm and to Kafue Fisheries Estate but no more specimens are present at Kafue Fisheries Estate (Ref. 8600). Also introduced for the control of aquatic vegetation (Ref. 4537).
