Probably reported (in part) as Carcharias menisorrah from Manila Bay (Ref. 288) and Cebu (Ref. 280). Collected from Luzon Point (USNM 151232, female, 62.1 cm TL and male, 67 cm TL) (Ref. 288). Observed during dives at Tubbataha Reef, central Sulu Sea in April 2000 (Ref. 47737). Recorded from Lanuza Bay, Surigao del Sur (Ref. 104756) and Sulu-Celebes Sea (Ref. 244). Also Ref. 9997, 6871, 26842, 53416, 121724.

Occurrence: Manila Bay; Cebu; Lanuza Bay, Surigao del Sur; Tubbataha Reef, central Sulu Sea.
