Translocated during the 1960's to several dams (Callide, Borumba, Moogerah, Hinze, North Pine) and Mary River (from Borumba Dam), Queensland (Ref. 6071).

Juveniles for stocking, which are about 100-110 mm TL and 3 months old can be sold for up to AU$20 back in 1982 (Ref. 39857). Also Ref. 44894.
