Known from Tham Wang Badan (Ref. 42927) and the Mae Khlong basin (Ref. 26580). Type locality: Tham Sai Yok Noi [=Tham Nam Tok], 3 km north-northwest of Nam Tok, 14°15'N, 99°04'E, Kanchanaburi Province (Ref. 37842). Collected commercially on occasion for the aquarium trade (Ref. 42927). Threatened due to human disturbance and overfishing (Ref. 58784). Also Ref. 27299, 37773. Status of threat: Critically Endangered (Ref. 58784). |
