Type locality, Pon-Kou County in the Hanjiang basin, western Fujian Province, ZRC-50526 (holotype of the Rhinogobius ponkouensis, 3.02 cm SL, male). Found in the shallow riffles of the swiftly flowing tributaries near the county (Ref. 57935). |
