Reintroduced in 1978 by Fisheries Division/FAO (Ref. 33576). Cultured at a mangrove marsh in Vaitoloa, Vaiusu Bay, near Apia for a live baitfish project for the pole and line skipjack fishery (Ref. 1739). The effort did not prove to be commercially sound (Ref. 9419). |
