Known only from the Toyah Creek and the effluents (including irrigation canals) of San Solomon, Phantom Cave and Griffin springs in Reeves County in Texas; formerly found in Comanche Springs in Pecos County, Texas. Common in small areas but threatened due to removal of water for irrigation for agriculture. Also Ref. 27139. Status of threat: endangered; status same as 1989.
