Comments: Known from the Mississippi River basin from eastern Ohio to southern Minnesota and Nebraska south to Louisiana; Wolf River (Lake Michigan drainage) in Wisconsin; Gulf drainages from Mississippi River in Louisiana to Lavaca River in Texas. Usually found over much of distributional range but declining (Ref. 86798).
