Comments: Type locality of the holotype of Nothobranchius ivanovae: 'pond on left side of the road from Kabungo to Iloba, Karira stream, Katuma river drainage, altitude 1023m, Tanzania' (Ref. 92886). Known from a swampy area of the Katuma River drainage (Ref. 92886, 122068).
