One specimen observed (identification confirmed by T.W. Pietsch) over a period of several months in 1993 on Bathala Thila, near Bathala in Ari Atoll (Ref. 30829). Two specimens photographed, one from Fushifaru Bodu Giri in Ari Atoll and the other from South Malé Atoll (Ref. 30829).
