Occurs in the Mekong tributaries, the middle Xe Bangfai and the upper Nam Theun basins (Ref. 27732). Collected from Tha Ngon, Tha Bo, Sithan Tay and Khinak (Ref. 4792) and Ban Hang Khone, a village on an island in the middle of the mainstream Mekong River just below the Great Khone Waterfalls in Khong District, Champasak Province (Ref. 37767).
