Comments: Occurs in Honshu west of the Kiso River, Shikoku, and northwestern Kyushu (Ref. 559). Recorded from Lake Biwa (Ref. 78994). Also found in Futatsukawa Creek, Fukuoka Prefecture (Ref. 37350). Status of threat in the 2005 Red Data Book of Shiga Prefecture : danger increasing (Ref. 79825).
