Found along the base of Himalayas and Assam (Ref. 41236). Known from rivers of Indus, Ganga and Brahmaputra (Ref. 45255). Present in Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal lakes (Ref. 89721). Also Ref. 4832, 89472.
