Comments: Type locality of the holotype of Nannaethiops bleheri: 'Tata Lake in einem Abfluss des Baro River (abfließend in den Sawba River) nahe Gési, westlich von Aganga, Gambela District, südwestliches Äthiopien, Stromgebiet des oberen Weißen Nil nahe der Grenze zum Sudan' (Ref. 77044). Known from a small lake in the upper White Nile basin (Ref. 77044).
