Known from the Mekong basin (Ref. 12693). Found below the Khoné Falls to Tonlé Sap and the Great Lake (Ref. 37772), Phnom Penh and Réam (Ref. 36654), Sangke river, Battambang province (Ref. 41486). More common in permanent lakes than in the main Mekong River channel (Ref. 37770). Also Ref. 3902, 36662, 36686, 33813, 45353.
