| Remark | Locality: Sao Paolo, southeast Brazil. Fish which were observed to exhibit ram filtering repeatedly swam through a swarm of planktonic crustaceans. The fish moved with their mouths wide open and opercles abducted. This observation was noted in fish measuring about 20 cm TL, recorded at late afternoon at about 4 m depth. | ||
