Distribution:  Western Pacific: the Philippines.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 4-4; Dorsal soft rays (total): 21-23; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 16-16; Vertebrae: 29-29. This species is distinguished by the following characters: LL pattern type 1; D IV,21-23; A II,16; oblique body scale rows in mid-lateral series 47-53; preopercle lower limb margin with about 8-11 spines; dark premaxillary stripe (119093).
