Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits the main river area and is found with cyprinids Dawkinsia filamentosa, D. lepida, Pethia punctata, Puntius mahecola, Devario malabaricus (Jerdon) and the cichlid Pseudetroplus maculatus (Ref. 127046).
